Sunday School

Sunday School group 2014

Sunday School Schedule

Sunday School begins at 9:30 am and closes at 10:30 am. Students ages 3–third grade will meet in the church basement for a large group opening. Fourth & Fifth Grade, Junior High and High School will meet in their own classrooms. Preschoolers & elementary students can be picked up in the Martin Luther School rooms. Please pick up your child promptly so the teachers can get cleaned up in time to attend the 10:45 am worship service.

We Welcome guests & visitors!
Coffee and Treats Provided each week

*Parents are asked to sign students in and out of Sunday School. This is how we take attendance and ensure the safety of the children in our care. Thank you for your cooperation!

*Please check out the calendar linked above for specific dates for special events, such as Grandparents’ Sunday, Children’s Sunday, singing in church, servant projects, holiday schedule, and fellowship events.

Our classes will be using the Growing in Christ Curriculum from Concordia Publishing House. This curriculum focuses on a Bible lesson and memory verse each week and has supplementary craft, game, mission and snack ideas. Preschool & school age students will meet in the basement for the Opening.

An offering will be taken each week which will go toward our mission projects. Occasionally families will be asked to bring in an item, such as school supplies or hygiene products to make kits to send abroad. Preschool and Elementary students will take offering during their opening. Please watch for notes coming home with your child about where our offerings will be going.

Presentation of Bibles

Each Rally Sunday, all students entering third grade in Sunday School will be presented with an ESV Bible at the 10:45 am worship service. If you are unable to attend the service, your Bible may be picked up in the church office. These Bibles will be used in the classrooms, so students are encouraged to bring them each week. All new students in grades 3-8 will also be given a Bible.
